Dog-Friendly Ranch Experience in CA Gold Country

Fenced 60-acre ranch with private hiking trails, swimming pond, friendly barn animals & more!
Dog & Pony Ranch pet-friendly vacation rental in California Gold Country

Escape to the beautiful Northern California Sierra foothills and our private ranch. Bring your dogs, and/or enjoy playing with our animals.

There are many things to enjoy on the private 60 acres from off-leash hiking trails, dog/people swimming pond, hot tub, game room, and spectacular views from our hilltop house.

The Dog & Pony Ranch is a short drive from Sacramento and SF/San Jose Bay Area for easy getaways. Our location offers the best of both worlds with the rural privacy to re-connect with nature PLUS the conveniences of being only a few miles from small country towns for groceries, restaurants, and more.

Guest House

Ranch life doesn’t have to be rustic as you’ll see in our 5-star guest house with spectacular views, hot tub, and luxury amenities! The guest house is comfortable for up to 6 people overnight. This is a romantic master suite, a multi-use room that has a room-divider curtain for the 2nd bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, and a stunning great room with dining room and loft.

Day Visit guests also have access to the guest house to use the bathrooms, chill food in the fridge or warm it in the microwave, or relax on the patio between walks with the dogs.

There is plenty of parking and private guest entrance/patio/yard. Our main house is adjacent so both have excellent views. We host only one group at a time (Day guests between Overnight rentals) so you have as much privacy as you want in this relaxing rural paradise.
