Thank you for your interest in our dog-friendly farm-stay! With 11 years of loyal and frequently returning guests, our most popular seasons were usually heavily booked months in advance and we were fully booked for 2024 shortly after our phase-down announcement e-newsletter.
What you get with overnight visits... there is nothing quite like our unique dog-friendly ranch so people often ask us what it is. The guest house is completely private like a vacation rental home (you prepare your own meals, separate entrance, no shared interior spaces). It's a hosted visit since we live on our ranch with our animals so we'll be here during your visit, though we do try to ensure as much privacy or interaction as you want. You are our ONLY GUESTS for your selected dates!
Feedback from guests has been very positive for our hosted farm-stay experience since living onsite means we can offer daily barn animal feeding/petting/learning interactions (included), plus optional horse grooming/riding lessons. There is no obligation to visit the barn -- some guests just want to enjoy the private large property with their dog(s).
Dogs are always welcome at our ranch and we are well setup for guest dogs including separately fenced yards. Our rescued dogs (older Lab Cody, and fetching-obsessed Goldendoodle, Gina) get along well with dogs of all sizes and can be helpful for introducing guest dogs to the barn animals. However, we can accomodate reactive dogs and dogs who prefer not to to be near other dogs for various reasons and will coordinate with you so your dogs get max time on the 60 acres.
